100GBASE-BX80-D BiDi 1310nm-TX/1280nm-RX 80km DOM Simplex LC/UPC SMF Optical Transceiver Module
The compatible 100G BiDi ZR4 QSFP28 transceiver supports 100GBASE-BX throughput up to 80km over a single strand of SMF fiber. This bidirectional module contains a 4-lane optical transmitter and a 4-lane optical receiver. It uses 1295/1300/1304/1309nm wavelengths on the transmitter side and 1273/1277/1282/1286nm wavelengths on the receiver side. That allows the network operator to double the transmission capacity without deploying new fiber. However, these BiDi QSFP28 transceivers must be paired with another transceiver or network appliance that operates on complementary wavelengths. This 100G BiDi transceiver is suitable for fiber connectivity in data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise cores, and service provider applications.
