MCI-2201M, Mini Gigabit Industrial Unmanaged Network Media Converter (1x 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 to 1x 1000Base-X SFP)
This fiber to Gigabit Ethernet industrial media converter is configured with a 1x 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 port and a 1000Base-X SFP port. It is used to contact the RJ45 port switch with the SFP port switch by transferring the copper network to a fiber network and extending the transmission distance of the copper network system at speeds of 1Gbps. Media converters are widely used in structured cabling systems to interconnect fiber optic cabling systems with existing copper cables.
The fiber optic media converter is compatible with a wide range of 1G SFP transceivers, including 1000BASE-SX/LX, BiDi SFP, CWDM SFP, etc. All of the optical transceivers are available at Connlight.
